About the school

The PABASA School of Advocacy is an independent institute dedicated to the training of pupil advocates in accordance with the statutory and regulatory requirements under the Legal Practice Act, 2014 (LPA). The School is located in Sandton, Johannesburg and will accept pupils for the 2020 calendar year.

PABASA TSHWANE (Loftus Chambers) will aslo accept pupils which will be trained at Sandton for the 2020 Calendar year. At present, PABASA is seeking accreditation as a training institution under the LPA. On receiving accreditation, PABASA will accept application for pupillage and this will be posted on the website in due course. The School of Advocacy is aimed at training and developing advocates of outstanding competence in all spheres of advocacy and the practice of law.

The School will cater to both the academic and advocacy training component of pupillage and continuing legal education for admitted legal practitioners (advocates, attorneys and in-house legal practitioners). All queries regarding the School may be directed to: (for Sandton) / (PABASA TSHWANE)
