Adv. Delany Nombuso Tshabalala served her articles at Moss & Associates Attorneys in 2017. In December 2021, she joined the United States Government under the RSC AFRICA Program as an Immigration Officer, where she managed and processed refugee and immigration matters across the African continent.

Within 7 months, she was promoted to Senior Immigration Officer, continuing to support the adjudication of refugee matters while supporting refugee immigration processes in collaboration with the United States Department of Homelands Security and U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) as well as UNHCR.

Following the successful completion of her pupillage in 2025, she was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Africa. She now serves as a part-time lecturer in private law  and is a member of the Compliance Institute Southern Africa
