Previous Experience

Prior to being admitted as an advocate he served in the Legal Services of a number of Government Departments for a period of over 22 years. He served as a Military Law Officer from 20 April 1996 to 14 June 2006. He then served as the Director: Legal Services in the Department of Science and Technology from 15 June 2006 until 13 December 2007. From 14 December 2007 to 30 November 2013 he served as Chief Director: Legal Services in the National Department of Social Development; and then serves Chief Director: Legal Services in the Department of Water and Sanitation from 1 December 2013 to 31 January 2018.
