Previous Experience

Advocate Tommy-George Bvuma is a dynamic and intellectually astute legal practitioner who brings to the Bar a rare fusion of legal precision and global professional experience gained outside the legal fraternity. Prior to his admission in 2025, he accumulated over 15 years of experience in organisational development, governance training, and professional facilitation, working with a wide range of institutions and senior stakeholders across various jurisdictions in Africa, Asia, Middle East and The Pacific Islands. While his experience was not within legal practice, it has equipped him with a practical understanding of institutional frameworks, decision-Making processes, and broader context in which legal disputes arise. At the Bar he applies this background to develop a disciplined and pragmatic approach to legal work, with particular attention to clarity of analysis,structured argument and professional responsibility. Tommy-George is committed to building broad based litigation experience while developing expertise in his chosen area of practice.
