Previous Experience
Before joining the Bar, Adv. Mankhuwe Caroline Letsoalo III gained valuable academic and legal research experience through appointments at two of South Africa’s leading universities.
She served as a Research Student Assistant to Professor Anton Kok in the Department of Jurisprudence at the University of Pretoria in 2019, where her research focused on equality law. She later served as a Research Student Assistant to Professor Danie Brand, Director of the Centre for Human Rights at the University of the Free State in 2021.
In 2022, she received advocacy training through Pupillage at the Johannesburg Society of Advocates (JSA).
Adv. Mankhuwe Caroline Letsoalo III has co-authored publications in constitutional and equality law, is the recipient of the 2021 Yunus Mohamed Public Interest Award for Law, Business and Ethics, and has presented research at national legal conferences, including the Celebrating and Interrogating 30 Years of the South African Constitution Conference hosted by the University of Johannesburg in 2025.
