Previous Experience

Adv. Mankhuwe Caroline Letsoalo III is a practising advocate and member of Loftus Chambers in Pretoria. She obtained her LLB degree from the University of Pretoria and has pursued postgraduate studies in Comparative Constitutional Law and Theory. Her practice includes constitutional and administrative law, judicial review proceedings, public procurement disputes, and complex motion court litigation. Her academic interests lie in Constitutional Theory, Critical Legal Studies, and the transformative role of law in South Africa's constitutional democracy.

Prior to joining the Bar, she served as a Research Student to Professor Anton Kok at the University of Pretoria, where her research focused on equality law, and later as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Human Rights at the University of the Free State. She received her advocacy training through Pupillage at the Johannesburg Society of Advocates (JSA) in 2022.

Adv. Mankhuwe Caroline Letsoalo III has co-authored publications in equality and constitutional law, is the recipient of the 2021 Yunus Mohamed Public Interest Award for Law, Business and Ethics, and has presented her research at national legal conferences, including the Celebrating and Interrogating 30 Years of the South African Constitution conference hosted by the University of Johannesburg in 2025.
