Previous Experience

Adv Hlalele Molotsi SC was a Part Time Senior Commissioner of the CCMA & other Bargaining Councils. He was a CCMA Commissioner for eighteen years, a Convening Senior Commissioner of the CCMA for seven years & part of CCMA Senior Management Team.

In 2005, Adv Molotsi SC was appointed to act as the Convening Senior Commissioner of the CCMA North West region and later in 2007 was ultimately identified to take the role of Convening Senior Commissioner of the Free State region.  He held this position for several years before been transferred to be the Convening Senior Commissioner of the Tshwane CCMA region in 2012.

Adv Molotsi SC has chaired several disciplinary hearings in both private sector and public sector. He has conducted a number of investigations at both public and private sector level.

 

Adv Molotsi SC was a member of the Legal Practice Council (LPC). He was the chairperson of the Advocates for Transformation (AFT) in the Tshwane region from 2019 – 2021. He was a member of the Pretoria Bar Council from 2018- 2021. He then became a member of the Tshwane Society of Advocates until June 2023 then later joined PABASA where he is currently a practicing member and has since held the role of Course Convenor for Civil Procedure (Pupillage 2024) and acts as a Judge of the High Court and Labour Court.
